To what extent Internet traditions, formed during 
the "pioneer period", will be preserved in future, 
remains to be seen. Seeing as they are written in 
the technical foundations of the Internet, they at 
least have a future as relicts. The transformational 
period of the net, means that things that happen on 
the Internet will change drastically; old things 
will perish and new things emerge. It can still be 
observed, however, that beyond the surface of the 
WWW, net newbies try to lean towards Internet 
tradition and old-established citizens carry on the 
tradition and supervise its preservation.
